Friel & McGahon

This first floor practice started off as a shell and core premises, essentially a blank canvas to work with.  Working closely with their architect, the DMI design team helped with the layout and flow of this beautiful 3 surgery practice.  It’s a simple design that works very well. They used glass blocks effectively to flood light into the surgeries.

The cabinetry and décor is kept bright and clean, with the A-dec 300P unit in sewn cyan upholstery being the centrepiece of each surgery.

Each unit was supplied with the A-dec 500 LED light with cure safe mode, allowing the operator to work the overhead light without curing composites. They were unable to put their plant equipment outdoors, so a deadening box was used which reduced the sound from the compressor to just 52dB(A).
