Airport Dental, Cork

Airport dental decided that they could half the floor space of their larger than needed waiting room, and add a new surgery to the practice.  With the help of the Daire in the design team, a plan and layout was drawn up and the resulting surgery is stunning. 

The room itself is actually only less than 3m wide, however by keeping the cabinetry to a minimum and to the back, the room feels bright and spacious   Muted tones and light colours throughout with the stylish A-dec 300RS unit in black sewn upholstery, whip arm (continental) delivery for improved ergonomics, and rear delivery assistants table and suction arm for maximum efficiency.  The centrepiece of the surgery then being the ceiling mural of the constellation – the patient can sit back and get lost in the stars.

As part of the design new layout was also drawn up for the sterilisation room, as well as a new CBCT room.  Kitted out with the Planmeca ProMax 3D CBCT unit, the practice can expect top class image and build quality.  Planmeca CBCT units are the world leaders in low dose imaging, and Eoin was delighted to receive his certification on being a Ultra Low Dose practice.
