A lot of thought went into the design and layout of this practice. The surgery layout and equipment used was all about maximising efficiency. The A-dec 400 chair in granite sewn upholstery without spittoon sits on its own in the centre of the room. The dentists delivery system, overhead light and nurses instruments are separate. The dentist’s delivery system is cabinet mounted and can be tucked within the cabinets when not in use, away from the patients eye line when entering the room.
The A-dec 545 rear nurses delivery table gives the nurse a work surface to keep everything needed for the upcoming procedure, so the operator and nurse can practice ‘4 handed dentistry’. The same table also houses the suction tips, keeping them off the chair.
The ceiling mounted light is on a track along the centre of the room, meaning that the operator can literally position it to shine at any angle into the oral cavity.
